through their eyes

grasping hands
finding the lock
wondering how they both got so lucky
you can see it in their eyes

they have much to say
to share
to dream about
having something which is becoming lost today
having it not torn away
their eyes will tell you all

they can roam in the quiet
or talk through the sand
they can do this all
their hands embraced
the eyes can close for a second

you would think through all this there are faults
for such is the case with human nature
it is the case for all those who have walked this path
sadly many have been lost from it
what path they ask? i make my own
why forge a new one when the old one was what made it special to begin with?
have the eyes really kept their secrecy?

would hands grow cold
untouched
un --- loved?
the message of the eyes is simple.

theirs reveal all

reveal the lost sense
of a strength held by those who find it
but were not looking for it
such a strange strength
yet everyone would know its source
the two with warmth between their fingers can testify
their eyes wide open

their eyes will tell you many stories
hardships and trials
ambitions and curious encounters
but most importantly
their eyes will reveal their secret message

but you must find their message yourself
their journey is what makes the curiosity come to life
you must find them
ask the eyes themselves
you will see
through their eyes all is revealed
